It may not look like much, but it’s the back of the batters eye at Funko Field in Everett, Washington, home of the Mariners Single-A affiliate Everett Aqua Sox. Everett also happens to be the hometown of the esteemed Bob Williams, my great friend and one the best human beings I’ve ever met. He’s also a great author, so check him out.
The Aqua Sox are having their moment in the sun at present as the Mariners’ hot shot prospect Julio Rodriguez is tearing the cover off the ball for the Sox. Aqua Sox tickets are in high demand for that reason, and they sold out the entire weekend I was close by.
Seeing an Aqua Sox game remains on the to-do list. Just another reason to come back to the Pacific Northwest.
