We finally know who we will be spending our summer watching at 121 Financial Ballpark. The Jumbo Shrimp released their preliminary roster today and it includes three of the top Marlins prospects:
- Lewin Díaz
- Jesús Sánchez
- Braxton Garrett
The roster also features nine players with Major League Baseball experience. I have little doubt that some of the guys recently called up will return to Jax when the Marlins roster gets a little healthier.
Given the trajectory of some of the prospects that the Marlins sent to Pensacola, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a number of them see time in Jax before the season is over.
