Random Baseball Photo of the Day

Tonight’s ESPN Game of the Week is the White Sox at the Angels from Anaheim Stadium. So I thought it fitting that a picture of the “Big A” would be most appropriate for this post. I took this from the parking lot of the ballpark in August 2012 while waiting for a buddy to pick me up from the train station opposite the stadium. (If you ever get a chance to take the Pacific Surfliner north from San Diego to LA, do it. It’s beautiful. And train travel is awesome.) The Big A used to be located just beyond the left field of the ballpark when it opened, but they moved it when the park was enclosed to host the first incarnation of the LA Rams. It’s a cool landmark, no matter where it might be located.
