One and Done

The Jumbo Shrimp‘s Broadcaster and Media and Public Relations Manager Scott Kornberg is out with a great new article on Shrimp & Grits, otherwise known as the blog WE would write if only a team would hire us to do so. Anyhow, it is entitled “He pitched in only one MLB game, but Al Autry is forever a big leaguer” and it is a fantastic story of how former Jacksonville Suns player Al Autry got to pitch in exactly one Major League Baseball game.

I don’t know about you, but I would give up most of my worldly possessions to have a baseball career and play in the big leagues. But what if you only got to play in one game? Great topic for a deep philosophical debate over some beers, no?
