Random Baseball Photo of the Day

It’s been a while since we’ve featured one of our random baseball photos, so here’s todays entry: PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA.

I took this as I was flying into Pittsburgh for a pub crawl/hockey game with one of my good buddies in January. I was very hopeful that our approach to the airport would take us right over downtown, and thankfully, I was not disappointed. It’s a wonderful view.

PNC Park is absolutely one of my favorite places to see a ballgame. It’s an intimate ballpark with one of – if not the – best views in baseball. Combine that with the Roberto Clemente bridge just outside the park, and the aesthetics of the area are everything you want from a ballpark. Now, if the Pirates could put together a quality team, then my Yinzer friends would truly be in baseball heaven.

If you haven’t been to PNC Park, then you must go. You won’t be disappointed.
