The Catch is in Memphis today to see our Jumbo Shrimp take on the Memphis Redbirds at AutoZone Park. It’s our first time at this park, but we’ve had a fun day walkin’ in Memphis (to borrow a phrase) taking in the sights, watching some Euro 2020 at a brilliant Irish pub, and sampling the local brews.
But we are here for baseball! So let’s take a look at the lineups each team will be fielding this evening:
A familiar looking lineup for the Shrimp. But still no Brigman. Wherever might he be? Is he injured? Or is he just making way for whichever player might have been sent down by the Marlins? He’s been the best Shrimp player over the past month. He should be on the field.
As for the Redbirds, they have major leaguer Harrison Bader starting on a rehab assignment. They also feature 2B Nolan Gorman – one of the Cardinals’ top prospects – making his Triple-A debut.
Let’s give Gorman the welcome he deserves with a big fat golden sombrero and a Jumbo Shrimp win. How ‘bout it fellas?!
